McKenney and Hall's hand colored lithographs remain some of the most beautiful records of Native Americans ever produced in the nineteenth century. These lithographs were created from oil paintings that were done as studio portraits of Indian leaders and members of their parties when they came to Washington D.C. to sign treaties.

Son of Joseph Brant, or Thayendanega, Chief of the Iroquois Confederacy during the American Revolution.
