Original color on wove paper. Shows a ceremonial dance performed by women of the tribe. Plains Indians told versions of a story about a young woman who appeared dressed in white. She brought a bundle with a a sacred pipe. She turned into a white buffalo calf and disappeared. This dance recreates the story of the White Buffalo Calf. $4200 framed. |
